Studio Portrait Project

Taking a portrait of someone whom you’ve just met is both exciting and rewarding. In this project I experimented with different lighting setups which gave me new ideas to apply when taking photographs of different people. The subjects of my photographs are not professional models, they are regular people. This made posing an important aspect of this portrait photography project. Practicing portrait photography has given me the opportunity to improve my communication with the subjects, as well as, posing, lighting and composition techniques. I am very happy with the resulting photographs and I feel that these photographs are works of art that can be treasured for years to come.

Photographer: Kishore Nadella

Kishore Nadella has 13 years of software development experience and has been doing portrait photography for a little over a year now. In his free time he explores different studio lighting setups and photo editing techniques. He believes that portrait photography is of the utmost importance in today's society because of the increasingly digital lives we lead where you get only one chance to make a first impression.
